Compressing PDFs can help reduce file sizes for easier sharing and storage. Our tool attempts to compress your PDF file down to exactly 300KB by rendering its pages at a lower resolution and quality, then fine‑tuning the output.

How It Works

After uploading your PDF, a preview is displayed so you can verify the file. When you click "Compress PDF", the tool iteratively adjusts the JPEG quality used to render each page until the generated PDF is as close as possible to 300KB. If the file is slightly under 300KB, the tool pads the PDF with extra PDF comment data so that the final file size is exactly 300KB.

Due to the complexity of PDF content and the limitations of client‑side processing, this method uses an iterative approach. While it strives to achieve exactly 300KB, slight variations may still occur.
