Getting patients to your website is only half the job. The other half is helping them take the next step. Small changes often lift enquiries noticeably without any extra traffic.
The conversion checklist
- Speed. Pages should load quickly on a mobile connection. Compress images and remove heavy plugins.
- Always visible contact. A call button and WhatsApp button that stay within reach on mobile.
- Clear first screen. Who you are, what you treat and where you are, in one glance.
- Doctor credibility. Real photos, qualifications, registration and experience.
- Answers on every page. Each treatment page should address process, suitability, recovery and cost factors.
- Timings and location. Accurate hours, chamber schedules, a map and landmarks.
- Short forms. Name, phone and maybe clinic location or concern. Every extra field loses people.
- Trust signals. Genuine reviews, facilities and any accreditations you truly hold.
- Accessibility. Readable text sizes and good contrast, especially for older patients.
- Fast follow up. A form that nobody answers is worse than no form. Reply quickly during working hours.
Measure before and after
Track calls, WhatsApp clicks and form submissions as conversions in Google Analytics. Make one change at a time where possible, so you know what helped.
Common mistakes
Stock photos that look nothing like your clinic, sliders that hide the message, pop ups that block the screen on mobile and contact forms that send to an email nobody checks are among the most common reasons clinic websites underperform.
